PERSONALITY ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME

INTRODUCTION:

‘Personality Test’ is the last stage of civil services’ examination. The score of the Test is much helpful to decide the All India Ranking  position of the Aspirant. It is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission through the Panel interview Board, generally headed by a member of the commission. The motto of the test is to introspect internal as well as External Personality of the Aspirant. The test is oriented to analyse value pattern, inter-personal communication skill, balance of judgments and job-related attitudes available with the Aspirants.

Inspiration IAS Academy trains its student through well-designed “Personality Enrichment Programme (PEP). The programme is designed for those aspirants, who are declared qualified for Personality Test.

COMPONENTS OF THE PERSONALITY ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME:

The session includes

  • Expert lectures on
    • Personality Development and assessment.
    • Inter-personal relation and social ability.
    • Leadership and Motivation.
    • Stress management during interviews.
    • Verbal Communication Skills
    • Non-verbal communication skills
    • Expected Manners and etiquette.
    • Mental alertness and Balance of judgment

(b) Specialized lectures on

  • Expected questions on Aspirants’ Bio-data.
  • Public Administration- Theory and Practices
  • Expected areas of other optional.

(c) Mocks interview sessions

Mock sessions are conducted under expert panel, headed by a distinguished bureaucrat or specialized professionals, invited by the Academy from time to time.

(d) Feedback session.

Thorough analysis of Video Recording and Panel mock interview’s performance, feedbacks are provided to candidates.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROGRAMME

The Programme is systematically executed under 4 fundamental stages:

Stage-1:- Practice on Self-Evaluation

It is done through Brain Storming Session; through practice on Questionnaires and interaction with the Expert Member. The Motto of the session is to bring self consciousness of an Aspirant in terms of identifying his/her strengths and weaknesses and exploring Balance of Judgment.

Stage-2: Preparation on Expected Areas:

The Preparation is oriented to get information, ideas and Opinion on National and International Issues; analysis of Bio-data and information related to Board’s Member qualification, experience and trends to ask the Questions.

Stage-3 : One-to-One Mock Session:

It is necessary to interact with an individual aspirant with the Expert concerned to explore the verbal and non-verbal communication skills, handling of situational questions, self confidence of individual and justification of  Values, attitudes and behaviors reflected in an Aspirant.

Stage- 4 : Panel Mock Session:

It is conducted with a Mock Panel consisting of existing and retired Bureaucrats, academicians, HR experts and Subject experts. The Videography is entertained during mock interview session. After the Mock, the Analsed feedbacks are provided to Aspirant concerned with suggested recommendations. The Follow-up sessions are also organized, if Mock panel makes recommendation for the candidate.
